Description:

Alteplase is a recombinant human tissue-type plasminogen activator, which activates plasminogen directly to plasmin leading to the dissolution of the fibrin clot.

Indications:

• Thrombolytic treatment in acute myocardial infraction (AMI) for the reduction of mortality and reduction of the incidence of heart failure
• Thrombolytic treatment in acute massive pulmonary embolism (PE)
• Thrombolytic treatment in acute ischemic stroke
