• Mechanism of Action: A direct, selective inhibitor of Factor Xa 

• Treatment of chronic/refractory angina with no effect on heart rate and blood pressure.

Description:

Ranolazine acts by inhibiting the cardiac late sodium current (INa) and
hence prevents sodium dependent calcium accumulation in the cell.

It is important to know, 25-30% of patients with coronary artery disease have
persistent angina pectoris despite of PCI with or without optimal medical therapy
